- Engineer in the Weapons Division at the Naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport; conducted experiments involving underwater signals transmission and reception across thermal plumes for the purpose of identifying and protecting non-targets; at Brown and Sharpe
- Programming and troubleshooting software and hardware of robotic coordinate measuring machines, both with probes and lasers, which are used to measure for quality control purposes
- Taught in public and Catholic middle and high schools and wrote the mathematics curriculum for the PEGASUS program at LaSalle Academy
- Adjunct at Rhode Island College and at Providence College
